Inspired by the rich, jewel-like colors of Indian Corn and Glass Gem corn, this handmade bracelet reinterprets the natural pattern in a delicate linear form.
A slender element of the gold-plated bracelet setting is covered by hand with Japanese TOHO glass beads using the square stitch beading technique. Shades of green, plum, pink, copper, smoky violet and translucent yellow are combined in an irregular sequence inspired by the colorful kernels of corn.
The narrow beaded line contrasts with the smooth golden surface of the bracelet, creating a light and contemporary piece while preserving the detailed character of traditional beadwork.
The open bracelet design is adjustable, allowing the fit to be gently adapted to the wrist for comfortable wear.
