Jewelry care
Amber is soft and needs gentle handling, even when paired with harder stones or metal.
Remove before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Apply perfume, creams, and hairspray first and let them dry before putting on your jewelry.
Wipe with a very soft cloth after wearing. For marks on the amber, use a cloth barely dampened with lukewarm water and a little mild soap, then remove any soap with a clean, damp cloth and dry gently. Do not immerse the whole piece.
Protect amber from scratches, knocks, heat, and prolonged sunlight. Do not use alcohol, silver polish, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam.
Store separately in a soft pouch or lined box, away from damp conditions, heat, and direct sunlight. Leave enough room to avoid crushing delicate details.
If the piece gets wet, blot gently and let it air-dry completely before storing. Do not use heat. If anything loosens, cracks, or becomes damaged, stop wearing it and contact us before attempting a repair.
