This handmade brooch is shaped like a delicate branch of a blossoming mimosa tree. Each leaf has been individually embroidered by hand using traditional techniques and the Lunéville hook, then carefully embellished with fine glass beads. Once completed, the leaves were assembled into a sculptural composition that mimics a natural tree branch.

To evoke the charm of spring, bright yellow glass beads were added to represent the soft, spherical mimosa flowers in bloom.

The brooch is finished with a secure clasp, and the wire ends are neatly concealed beneath a small beaded element in matching green, crafted using the peyote stitch. Lightweight yet full of detail, this nature-inspired piece is a true statement for those who appreciate fine craftsmanship and botanical beauty.

Jewelry care

Handle your handmade beadwork gently to protect the beads and delicate details. These care tips also apply to jewelry made with Miyuki or TOHO glass beads.

  • Remove before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Take rings off before washing your hands.
  • Apply perfume, creams, and hairspray before putting on your jewelry, and let them dry first.
  • After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak, scrub, or use alcohol, jewelry cleaners, silver polish, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam.
  • Avoid pulling or twisting the beadwork, catching it on clothing, or knocking it against hard surfaces.
  • Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined box, away from humidity, heat, and direct sunlight. Lay it down gently without crushing raised or sculptural details.
  • If it gets wet, blot gently and let it air-dry completely before storing. Do not use heat. If a thread loosens or a bead is damaged, stop wearing the piece and contact us before attempting a repair.
