Find Miyuki Delica bead colors to pair with your Anchor embroidery floss, without starting every search from scratch. This downloadable color-matching catalogue from Match & Stitch brings together references for 444 Anchor thread colors in one 447-page PDF.

Look up an Anchor thread number, compare the suggested Miyuki Delica DB codes, and choose a combination for your embroidery, beadwork, or jewelry project.

What's inside

  • 444 Anchor color reference pages, plus a cover, introduction, and illustrated legend.
  • Anchor thread numbers, color names, thread photographs, color swatches, HEX values, and descriptive color tags.
  • Miyuki Delica bead images and DB codes for the suggested matches.
  • Regular Matches for closely related colors and Creative Matches, where available, for complementary colors or decorative effects.

How to use the matches

Start with the Anchor number in your project. Use the Regular Matches to explore beads with a close color relationship to the thread. Creative Matches offer a different effect through contrast, reflected light, or bead finish; they are not exact color equivalents.

The thread swatches were measured with a colorimeter, then manually checked and adjusted against real threads. The recommendations are a starting point: thread and glass beads reflect light differently, and transparent or coated beads can change appearance against different fabrics.

Compare physical samples where possible and stitch a small test under the lighting you plan to use. Screen colors and HEX values cannot guarantee an exact match.
